Lyan POS for Windows
Use Lyan POS from your Windows computer with dedicated desktop-style access to your hosted Lyan POS workspace.
This is the current portable Lyan POS Windows QA release. It is not yet the final traditional installer package and does not require a traditional installation process.
The Windows launcher opens the hosted Lyan POS platform at https://lyanpos.com. When Microsoft Edge app mode is available, Lyan POS opens in a dedicated app-style window. If Edge app mode cannot be launched, it may fall back to your computer's default browser.

Internet access is required to use the hosted Lyan POS platform.
This QA release is not currently code-signed. Windows security or SmartScreen prompts may appear when opening it.
Lyan POS for Mac
No Windows installer is needed on Mac. Open Lyan POS in Safari and add it to your Dock for convenient app-style access.
Open Lyan POS in Safari and use the built-in "Add to Dock" option to create a convenient app-style shortcut. No download or installer is required.

Internet access is required to use the hosted Lyan POS platform.
Add Lyan POS to Your Mac Dock
- 1Open Safari on your Mac.
- 2Go to https://lyanpos.com
- 3Sign in to your Lyan POS account.
- 4From the Safari menu bar, select File → Add to Dock.
- 5Confirm the app name: Lyan POS
- 6Click Add.
Lyan POS will appear in your Dock and Applications folder and can be opened in its own app-style window.
Windows
Download and open the Lyan POS Windows executable for desktop-style access.
Mac
Open Lyan POS in Safari and choose File → Add to Dock.
The Windows .exe file is not compatible with macOS.
Whether Lyan POS is accessed through the Windows launcher, Safari on Mac, a Mac Dock app, or a supported web browser, you access the same hosted Lyan POS account and business workspace. The Windows and Mac access methods do not create separate local business databases. Internet access is required.
